Job Description:

We are searching for an organized, attentive Bank Teller to provide exceptional service to our customers by handling routine tasks, such as processing payments, accepting deposits, and handling withdrawals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers with processing transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, or payments, resolving complaints or account discrepancies, and answering questions.
  • Accept cash and checks for deposit and check accuracy of deposit slip
  • Process cash withdrawals
  • Perform specialized tasks such as preparing cashier’s checks, personal money orders, issuing traveler’s checks and exchanging foreign currency
  • Perform services for customers such as ordering bank cards and checks
  • Receive and verify loan payments, mortgage payments and utility bill payments
  • Record all transactions promptly, accurately and in compliance with bank procedures
  • Balance currency, cash and checks in cash drawer at end of each shift
  • Answer inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts and other bank related products and services.
  • Attempt to resolve issues and problems with customer’s accounts
  • Explain, advise on and promote bank products and services to customers
  • Ensure compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Candidates with OND qualification only.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a teller or in a related field preferred
  • Clerical, administrative, cash handling, sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products

A Customer Service Representative will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls
  • Generate sales leads
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication

Job Description:

Enhance effectiveness by providing administrative management support i.e. letter writing, dealing with telephone and email enquiries, creating and maintaining filing systems, keeping diaries, arranging meetings and appointments and organising travel for line managers etc.
Detailed Summary

  • Organizes work, route correspondence and initiate telecommunications.
  • Maintains schedules by maintaining calendars for line manager; arranging meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Completes requests by greeting customers, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Provides historical reference by utilizing filing and retrieval systems.
  • Must be able to use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Book rooms and conference facilities when the need arises.
  • Liaise with staff in other departments and with external contacts.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Administrative Writing Skills, Reporting Skills, Supply Management, Scheduling, Microsoft Office Skills, Professionalism, Confidentiality, Organization, Travel Logistics, Typing, Verbal Communication
  • BSc/ HND in secretarial studies or related field.
  • Must have carried out similar function with a minimum of two (2) years experience post NYSC.
